Especially designed for collection, transport and storage of histology specimens. Offers shatter resistant polypropylene containers, eliminating most problems of leakage and evaporation. Containers are uniquely stackable, shatter resistant and are manufactured from virgin, translucent polypropylene. The magenta lids are ribbed for easy opening when hands are wet or gloved while the jars are stackable for easy, safe storage and translucent to allow specimens to be viewed without opening. They are manufactured from virgin polyethylene with a unique integrated leak-resistant seal. Containers are available in the more rigid straight side format. The uniqueness of the HistoTainer™ is that it incorporates an innovative tamper evident screw cap ensuring your peace of mind during transport or storage situations where someone might have manipulated the specimen without your prior knowledge. Can also be used without using the tamper evident locking mechanism. Both containers and caps are manufactured without the use of plasticizers or mold release agents. Shipping Policy
Orders are typically shipped within 48-72 hours of receipt, provided the product is in-stock and all necessary verification process has been completed.
Order delivery timeline is usually between 5-7 business days from order ship date. However, please note that drop ship items ship directly from the manufacturer and so delivery times will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Back ordered merchandise will ship as soon as the item becomes available.
For bulk orders, and any orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or outside of the United States, please contact us for better shipping rates. Note that orders requiring a lift-gate, inside delivery or residential delivery service will be assessed an additional fee depending on the freight carrier used.
Fuel Surcharges – Due to escalating fuel charges from our freight carriers, we are forced to pass on a fuel surcharge on all truck orders.
Order Cancellations
In the event you placed an order with us and need to cancel it, please contact us immediately at (310) 400 9156. We will make every attempt to stop your order from shipping; however, we cannot guarantee that it hasn't shipped. Normal cancellation fee is 25% if your order has been processed. If your order has shipped, you will be responsible for the shipping charges to you and the return to us. This will be considered a return and treated accordingly. Orders for non-returnable products cannot be cancelled once shipped. Custom orders - Orders for adjustable beds, power wheelchairs, scooters and custom wheelchairs that are built-to-order cannot be canceled once the order is processed and assembly has begun.
